Setting up your company profile lets SourceHUB support staff as well as any third party service providers, suppliers, or other partners recognize and identify your company. On our marketplace, it&#39;s also useful to differentiate yourself and your services from other providers or buyers.Setup your profile by clicking the profile icon on the top right of any page and selecting Company Profile.&nbsp;From there, upload a logo, headline or fill out any of the other fields (all are optional).Secondly, visit the Location Manager&nbsp;on the left of the settings page to populate your address book. Several of our features (purchase orders, shipping, quoting) utilize your address book as a fast-fill when completing addresses, so entering them ahead of time can be a time saver. Using the address book also helps for location-based reporting, as it reduces duplicates versus entering an address each time, potentially with a few different characters.

SourceHUB will communicate activity in your company, records, and network to you in the form of notifications which can be received through email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You can configure the notifications you will receive and how by clicking your profile icon (the top right of the page) and selecting My Profile -&gt; Notifications.<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/4ed4f460-419e-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636490872302.jpg" style="width: 594px;">Initially you will only see options for email notifications, with several checked by default. Uncheck and be sure to save changes to silence certain notifications.To unlock SMS and WhatsApp options, add a phone number and check the box to receive SMS notifications on the My Profile&nbsp;page. Note: not all notifications can be received by all delivery methods -- some may be restricted to only a certain type (e.g.: email).Trouble receiving notifications?<ol><li>Make sure your email is validated. When you signed up, you should have received an email with a link to verify delivery. If you don&#39;t have this, or remember getting this, email <a href="//support@sourcehub.ai">support@sourcehub.ai</a> to verify your address for you.</li><li>As always, check for any typos in the address as well as your spam folder if you&#39;re trying to receive notifications for the first time. Adding any of our system emails to your address book will help ensure future delivery.</li><li>If you ever clicked Mark as spam instead of Delete&nbsp;(very easy to do) in your email client, or unsubscribed in the past, you may have been added to our suppression list. Email <a href="//support@sourcehub.ai">support@sourcehub.ai</a> for assistance getting off that list.</li></ol>Note: SMS deliveries may have a slight delay. Contact support if you have any issues getting SMS or WhatsApp notifications and check our status page for any downtime in these systems and with Twilio&nbsp;(the vendor we use for these deliveries).

Data FieldsJust about everything in SourceHUB is customizable (with sensible defaults). One of the most utilized customizations are with the fields and templates around your specs and artwork.&nbsp;To reduce friction and increase adoption, what product lines you use for your packaging as well as the fields themselves and what you name them should map to your company&#39;s existing nomenclature.Start in Settings -&gt; Data Fields.&nbsp;From here, you&#39;ll find all the default data fields on SourceHUB and the ability to create your own.<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/97db0f90-415e-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636463506737.jpg" style="width: 800px;">Before creating your own, search the General Fields to see if we have the field you&#39;re looking for. Using an existing field means SourceHUB will know what your data means, and can make use of it in reports and analytics.<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/6ab30090-415e-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636463430643.jpg" style="width: 594px;">If we don&#39;t have your field, add it here. At a minimum, creating a field requires a name and a type (file, text, measurement, etc.). Depending on the type you choose, additional options may become available (for example: dropdown types require a pre-set list of options).Some fields may be specification-specific, like measurements. Others can be setup to track identifiers from other systems (e.g.: SAP #&#39;s or invoice IDs). You can use fields to capture anything and everything you like.So far, the fields you created exist in a library; but won&#39;t show up on your records yet. We do this because some fields exist in multiple&nbsp;product lines (e.g.: integration IDs). So, the next step is to map them to your templates by browsing to Settings -&gt; Record Templates.&nbsp;Record TemplatesRecord templates map and group the fields for your product lines (e.g.: flexibles, rollstock, etc.), artwork, and BOMs (ingredients, formulas, etc.). This is useful for certain fields like Length. From a data collection/reporting standpoint it means the same, but what it&#39;s called and how it&#39;s placed may differ depending on the packaging product line.<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/c2710200-415e-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636463578180.jpg" style="width: 800px;">Like data fields, SourceHUB comes pre-loaded with a list of product lines. To customize your product lines, you have a few options:<ol><li>Find a SourceHUB default product line that&#39;s close to what you want and customize it. This is great if you just need to rename fields or make a few additions/removals. You&#39;ll be able to add, remove, rename or reorganize the fields and categories in an existing SourceHUB product line.</li><li>Remove a SourceHUB product line. If you don&#39;t use a particular type of packaging, remove it to simplify your interface. Click into the product line, and click the Gear Icon -&gt; Hide product line.</li><li>Create your own. Sometimes, starting fresh is the easiest, especially if we don&#39;t have an existing product line that&#39;s close.</li></ol>Once you click into a product line, you&#39;ll see three tabs:<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/4ff77a00-415f-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636463815609.jpg" style="width: 594px;"><ol><li>Configure fields:&nbsp;this is where most of your edits will be made. You can reorder or resize fields here. You can create, remove, or move fields between categories that group fields together. You can click into a field to configure the options, rename or remove it. <img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/2b638110-4160-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636464183422.jpg" style="width: 554px;"></li><li>Set default values: for fields with common values, save time by setting a default value. You&#39;ll be able to change it, but when creating records this value will be preset and can save time if it rarely changes.</li><li>Preview: see your template come together and preview how the fields will look in your templates.</li></ol>Once any changes are saved, you&#39;ll have the option of selecting a product line when creating records:<img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/6bb6ca10-4160-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636464291651.jpg" style="width: 594px;">The product line and fields will be available throughout SourceHUB:<ol><li>When viewing the record.</li><li>Viewing any record list, the field will be available as a column, sortable, and filterable: <img class="fr-dib fr-fil" src="https://cdn.cosmicjs.com/acdd8fb0-4160-11ec-9580-ebf669758fed-1636464400890.jpg" style="width: 800px;"></li><li>In certain reports that allow for field configuration, you&#39;ll be able to include it to gather metrics.</li><li>Formula fields allow you to build Excel-like formulas, and custom fields can be used as inputs for calculations.</li><li>When exporting your data, fields will be included as a cell value.</li><li>For integrations, fields can be mapped to and from external systems.</li><li>Certain notifications or emailed reports will include fields or print outs of records which will include the fields for reference either in the message itself or an attached PDF.</li><li>When free-text searching lists or globally (top right), find your records fast by searching for custom field values.</li></ol>
