SourceHUB is a platform that simplifies the packaging procurement process to help companies build agile supply chains and reduce costs. By automating the packaging procurement process and providing a collaborative platform for all stakeholders, SourceHUB helps companies reduce time and money spent on procurement activities. SourceHUB is an early-stage, venture-backed startup experiencing rapid growth (2x revenue in past quarter) looking for candidates to help accelerate our growth.

The Product Marketing Manager will support a range of activities, from analyzing market trends, defining customer needs and evaluating the competitive landscape to developing product roadmaps and pricing proposals as well as develop and implement growth strategies.

This is a full-time position working out of our Lisle, IL office (about 30 minutes from the heart of Chicago). Part-time or full-time remote will also be considered for the right candidates/experience.

General Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of our social media platforms and manage our ad spends
  • Develop marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
  • Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace
  • Leads market research activities, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs
  • Leads market research activities, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs

Related experience and qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing SEO analytics and identifying areas of improvement
  • Experience with web-based software as a service products and services
  • Experience with HubSpot, AdWords, Amplitude, Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Must be self driven and able to perform at a high level without constant guidance
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Must be a team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Extremely strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Willingness and ability to learn the specifics about the packaging/consumer packaged goods industry (or previous experience a huge plus)
